A-League teams have commenced their long and torturous pre-seasons as they look to topple Central Coast Mariners at the top of the pack.
Alessandro Del Piero, Shinji Ono and Emile Heskey have been joined by Harry Kewell in the headline stakes, but there has already been plenty of movement in rosters across the country as clubs strengthen ahead of a highly anticipated A-League season.
