Another classy knock from Sachin Tendulkar has the first Test between India and Australia poised on a knife's edge at stumps on day two in Chennai.

Three wickets in a pace blitz from James Pattinson looked to give Australia the upper hand, but Tendulkar combined with Virat Kohli to see the hosts through to stumps, ending the day on 3-182.
India were struggling early in their innings after Pattinson removed openers Murali Vijay and Virender Sehwag - the latter in bizarre circumstances after the ball landed on top of the stumps - to reduce the hosts to 2-12 in the sixth over.
But steady hands from Tendulkar and Cheteshwar Pujara guided India past 100 before Pattinson struck again, this time removing Pujara.
Earlier, Michael Clarke added a further 27 runs to his overnight total before eventually being removed by Ravindra Jadeja, the Aussie skipper holing out to long-off.
Some restrained batting from Peter Siddle and James Pattinson helped Australia reach 380 all out.
Ravichandran Ashwin added one more wicket to his tally to finish with career-best figures of 7-103.
