Melbourne Renegades moved back to the top of the KFC T20 Big Bash League ladder after racking up a big win over Adelaide Strikers at Etihad Stadium.

G. Putland 0 1 0 0 0
W. Sheridan 1.3 0 2 1 1.33

Brilliant bowling from Muttiah Muralidaran and Marlon Samuels, who took three wickets each, meant the Strikers were never really in the hunt during their run chase, eventually falling 48 runs short as they were bowled out for just 107.

Both Samuels and Murali took wickets off consecutive balls, although neither was able to convert it into a hat-trick.

There were plenty of fireworks during the Renegades' innings, as Kieron Pollard stole the show with a spectacular catch off his own bowling, and followed it up with an amusing jig for a celebration.

Pollard combined with good bowling from veteran spinner Brad Young, skipper Johan Botha and young quick Kane Richardson to restrict the Renegades to 6-155 from their 20 overs.

Tom Cooper was the best of the Renegades batsmen, smashing 59 runs off 46 balls before being caught off the last ball of the innings by wicketkeeper Tim Ludeman.
